The comfortable rondawels invite guests to slow down, light a fire, and enjoy the surroundings, with wildlife roaming nearby and communal spaces for swimming and braais.

Rondawels
Selfsorg consists of seven traditional rondawels, each comfortably sleeping up to six guests.
Two bedrooms feature double beds, while a loft area provides two single beds, making the units ideal for families or small groups travelling together.
Each rondawel includes:
Fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, kettle, and large fridge with freezer compartment
Six place settings of crockery and cutlery
Cleaning materials and brooms for light housekeeping
Shared bathroom with bath and shower
Private braai area with outdoor seating and fire pit
Secure parking nearby beneath large shade trees
Backup generator power
Private alarm system
One bag of firewood is included in your stay
Space to Play
Selfsorg guests share access to several relaxed communal facilities designed for spending time outdoors.
These include:
A large swimming pool
Picnic areas beneath the trees with braai facilities
A children’s jungle gym
These spaces offer plenty of room to relax, enjoy a braai with family and friends, or cool off in the enclosed pool.

Adjacent to the Selfsorg area is a large enclosed camp where guests are welcome to walk or cycle.
This quiet natural area is ideal for birdwatching and spotting antelope and other small wildlife that roam freely within the camp. While Sable Ranch is not a Big Five reserve, guests may encounter several species of antelope in this peaceful bush setting.
Guests are welcome to bring their own bicycles to explore the camp.
The Pantry
Our Wildlife Pantry convenience store provides a selection of essentials during your stay.
Available items include:
Firewood, charcoal and firelighters
Ice and ice cream
Toiletries and basic groceries
The Pantry is cash-free, and only card payments are accepted.

Selfsorg is designed for relaxed outdoor living, so guests may wish to bring a few extra items for comfort.
Camping chairs for relaxing around the braai or fire pit
Bath and swimming towels (towels are not provided)
Bicycles if you would like to explore the enclosed camp
While there is currently no Wi-Fi, cell reception is good throughout the Selfsorg area.

Water at Selfsorg comes from a potable borehole supply.
Guests who prefer bottled water can purchase it at the Bush Pantry, along with other essentials such as ice, firewood, charcoal, firelighters, toiletries, and basic groceries.

Guided game drives and bush walks are available on request, subject to availability.
Bookings and payment can be arranged at the Bush Pantry.
Please note that self-drive game viewing is not permitted.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all guests:
No day visitors are allowed
Quiet hours are observed between 4 PM and 10 AM
Loud music is not permitted
No tents or caravans may be pitched
All guests are required to sign an indemnity form on arrival, and activities on the property are undertaken at your own risk.

Selfsorg guests enter Sable Ranch via the Northern Gate (VK17).
Please contact reservations before arrival so that access can be arranged. A Foot and Mouth Disease biosecurity protocol is currently in place, so guests should expect a brief delay at the gate while this important procedure is completed.
A R1000 breakage deposit per rondawel is required at the time of booking and is refunded within 5–7 days after departure, provided no damages occur.
Each rondawel accommodates four guests in the base rate, with a maximum of six guests.
Additional guests are charged R500 per person.
